The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process through which the church welcomes and instructs new members. This process is designed for adults who wish to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of initiation: Baptism (or profession of faith for those already baptized); Confirmation; and, First Eucharist.  Candidates may be un-baptized adults, baptized adults (those validly baptized in another Christian denomination) who wish to join the Catholic Church, or baptized Catholic adults who now want to complete their sacramental initiation into the Church by receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and/or First Eucharist.
