Dear Parishioners of Holy Name,

The current Eucharistic Revival emphasizes the importance of attending Mass in person (especially on Sundays) because the Eucharist is, of course, the “source and summit of Christian life.” While never losing sight of that reality, the Church continues to encourage Catholics to use new tools to grow in their faith in ways that supplement attending Mass and more traditional in-person parish devotional and instructional activities.

We are very pleased to advise you that, as part of a multi-parish Diocesan initiative, Holy Name of Jesus Parish now has a subscription to FORMED, a premier online platform filled with over 4,000 Catholic studies, movies, audio dramas, talks, e-books, and even cartoons for our children. FORMED has content from over 60 highly-reputable sources, including the Augustine Institute and Ignatius Press, with material that is professionally produced, engaging, and solid in its catechism. Much of FORMED’s content is available in both English and Spanish.

FORMED is easy to access using the simple instructions that appear below. No passwords are required. You can enjoy FORMED on your computer, tablet, cell phone, or even on your television with an inexpensive Roku device or Apple TV. Best of all, this material is free to you. FORMED offers content on the sacraments, saints, faith formation, and a wide range of other topics of interest to Catholics. It has content for children, and movies the whole family can enjoy. FORMED really does offer “the Catholic faith on demand” in a convenient online environment.
